Some questions we get regularly from our guests

Q: When can you see the Northern lights in Iceland?

A: From as early as the end of August and until April there is a good chance of seeing this phenomenon of nature in Iceland. However, you also need clear dark skies, favorable activity from the sun, patience and some luck to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). We advice our guests to be well prepared and download a good Aurora forecast app on their phone before their trip to Iceland. The Icelandic Met office is also a good source. Click here for their Aurora web forecast.

A: Yes, our guests often see the Northern Lights from outside our apartments or when relaxing in the hot tubs.
